"Of all the professional conferences that I have attended, the AMTP
conference is by far my favorite. In times of tightening budgets, one
has to more carefully select how to spend their limited resources; the
AMTP conference tops my list of where to send my manuscripts and how to
spend my professional development funds. I realized how special it was
at my first meeting five years ago: the participants are the most
collegial of any I've ever met at a conference, the atmosphere is
pleasant and relaxed, while at the same time I am learning and growing
in my profession, and the the scheduling is superb. Lastly, the
locations are always the best, regarding both the weather and the lower
cost of traveling to the conference location. My husband has attended
the conference with me twice and as a professor he wishes his
professional organizations would offer conferences similar to AMTP's. I
have purposefully allowed my membership to expire in numerous
professional organizations, but will always remain active in AMTP; this
conference is one of the reasons why AMTP is such a special professional
organization. Hats off and kudos to Rick Mathisen and Jim Randall for
all of their hard work every year!"

"AMTP is the most professional conference that I have ever attended.
Every detail of this conference reminds me of the phenomenal sales meetings that I participated in
during my 20 year tenure in the high tech industry. The collegial discussions that take place have enabled
participants to take papers to the next level of theory and professional application."

"Thanks for a great conference! I look forward to participating for many
years to come."

"As a newcomer to the AMTP Conference, I was impressed by the collegial
spirit of the entire conference. The spontaneous sharing of ideas took
place every moment people were together – from formal presentations to a
friendly round of golf. The conference reminded me of the very good
relationship building skills I saw during my previous career in
corporate banking that was filled with productive meetings, lunches, and
golf outings. I look forward to attending another conference."
